Bound To Help Books gives new life to vintage hardcovers by up-cycling them, transforming them into blank journals and scrapbooks. Each book is hand stitched, the old covers filled with new pages (often re-purposed wrapping paper, vintage maps, paper bags, envelopes, etc.). To reduce any waste associated with this project, we use the hardcovers' original pages to create bookish household decorations and holiday ornaments. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from each book sold is donated to one of several non-profits focused on protecting civil rights and promoting literary work by writers from traditionally marginalized communities.
